Mega Technica Shipyard Complete Two 50m Hull's

Mega Technica is based in the Perama Ship Repair Zone in Greece, and is active in the area of ship repairing, conversion, refurbishment and new construction in mega yachts.The shipyard has 600m2 of covered spaces and can take mega yachts and ships of up to 95m and a weight of 1,500tn on their dry dock.

The yard was contracted for the building of the Hull (Ice Class) and the aluminum Superstructure for two similar mega yachts of the Cosmo-Explorer 50 type based on the owners design and in accordance with ABS rules and regulations, with the following characteristics:

  • Length: 49.00m
  • Beam: 9.50m
  • Draft: 5.00m
The first mega yacht Hull 163.10 was launched and delivered to its owners in April 2011 and was then towed to the outfitting yard to be finished. The second mega yacht Hull 164.10 was launched and delivered to its owners in October of this year and was then towed to the outfitting yard to be finished.
