She is the first Wally to have the new Wallybow which incorporates the bulb into the bow, it combines the vertical bow to pierce the waves and the bulb to improve the performance. She features 3 decks:
- The 60 sqm sun deck over the superstructure is a large sunbathing and
lounge area, featuring the vast 3x3 meter sun-pad with adjustable backs, a
fully equipped bar with counter and stools, and sofa seating for 8-10 guests.
- The 120 sqm main deck has two social cockpits (one forward with table and
seating for 8-10 guests, and one aft with dining and lounge areas). The superstructure is completely surrounded by glass to enhance the Wally inside outside living concept and incorporates a 50sqm saloon area.
- The 95 sqm guest and service deck in the lower level.
She will be able to accommodate up to 10 guests in 4 large double cabins, two of which include pullman beds. The owner and VIP cabins are aft on the lower deck and open out onto the aft terrace that has direct access to the sea. Her interior styling will be fresh and simple with teak wood and beige coloured fabric that further enhance Kanga's inside outside living concept. She is suspected to have a range of over 3,000nm, remarkable for a yacht of her size.
Kanga is undergoing extensive sea trials before the delivery to her owners for their summer cruising. Wally has two more WallyAce 26m that are currently under construction and are scheduled to be launched at the end of 2012 and in spring 2013.
