Horizon Polaris Completes 2 Days of Sea Trials

Yesterday August the 15th Horizon Yachts flagship the EP148 'Horizon Polaris' just got back from a 2 day sea trial to Pong Hu, an island off Taiwan where her durability and operational performance were tested. This was her 5th sea trial since her launch earlier this summer.

Throughout the 2 day sea trial, professional QC engineers from all departments conducted rigorous and extensive testing on all mechanical systems, which included stability tests, speed tests, vibration tests, zero stabilizer tests, turning radius tests, steering tests as well as the on board facility and equipment tests. Horizon Polaris has a range of 4,500nm at 9kts, a trans oceanic range at 11kts and a top speed of over 16kts.

She will be a great explorer yacht and will have many adventures around the globe in the future.
