Baltic Yachts New High Performance Cruiser

Baltic Yachts in Finland are due to start construction on their new 35m (116ft) high performance cruiser this month, January 2013. The contract was signed last summer, with the owner wanting a high performance cruiser for taking his family sailing around the Mediterranean.

Judel/Vrolijk are responsible for the naval architecture and Nauta Design will take care of the custom interior. She will have a deckhouse with a carbon fibre bimini hard top for plenty of protection against that hot Mediterranean sun. Her hull will be constructed from carbon composite, and will be fitted with a lifting keel. There will be emphasis on creating a quiet and comfortable yacht, with noise and vibration reduction high on the priority list.

The layout includes 7 cabins, the owner’s spacious cabin with en suite bathroom situated near the bow, three cabins for the guests, one for the captain and two crew cabins.

She is scheduled to be delivered to her owner in October 2014 and we will be keeping you up to date throughout her build process.
