Alloy Yachts in New Zealand have again been chosen to construct the successor yacht to the current 169ft
Mondango which was launched in 2008. The new yacht will slightly bigger in length at 185ft and will be called
Mondango II when it is launched in 2013. Currently her project name is AY46 at the yard.
The owners have again brought together the same team that designed their previous yacht. The interior will be designed by
Reymond Langton and the exterior will be designed by the renowned
Dubois Naval Architects.
She will be able to accommodate 11 guests in 5 cabins 3 double cabins, 2 twin cabins one with a pullman berth all ensuite and a crew of 10 in 6 ensuite cabins. Her max speed under motor will be 14kts with a cruising speed of 12kts and she will have a range of 6,500nm at a speed of 10kts. Some of her unique features will be a swing down centerboard to keep the draft at 4m, Twin sub-deck tender wells and an aft deck spa pool.
Dubois Yacht Ltd have announced that the owners of the 51.7m (170ft) Mondango are ready to conclude the sale and have reduced the asking price to €27.9m with immediate effect. Mondango has been immaculately maintained since her launch in 2008 and is offered in pristine condition.
