Delta Marine have just, last weekend put their recently refitted Delta 70 up for sale at a price of $3.65 million. If I had that sort of money I would be strait over to Seattle to the Delta shipyard to take her back through Alaska and the North West Passage. Now that would be an amazing trip.
This beautiful pocket explorer is one of five sisterships built by the American yard and has just been through and extensive refit. During the refit she had all of her systems removed and replaced, an addition of a swimming platform and her interior has been totally rebuilt with rich mahogany floors and excellent built-in furniture. The result is the perfect little expedition yacht that's ready to take her new owners around the world in style and comfort.
She will be able to accommodate 6 guests in 3 staterooms that includes the master cabin forward on the main deck, with a double and a twin cabin on the lower deck. She will have a range of 4,000nm at a speed of 10kts and a cruising speed of 11kts. You can see in the above image that the interior gives a warm homely feeling, perfect for an owner who wants that home away from home.
