The latest news from the Benetti Yard for October and November includes the 63m FB265, the Tradition Supreme 108 and the fifth Benetti Delfino 93 'Zaphira'.
The 63m FB265
This 63m (207ft) Megayacht, currently under construction at the Livorno yard, made her first appearance last October when moved to the outfitting area of the yard. She won't be seen again until her official launch in 2014. The giant new steel hull with aluminum superstructure was created by the in house design team, and is the second largest Benetti currently in production (the largest is the FB262, a 90m (295ft) Megayacht, scheduled to be completed by the summer of 2015). The new design is similar to 'Nataly' (FB252), with the addition of another deck. The interior has four levels, and will be powered by twin Caterpillar engines, giving her a top speed of 16.5kts, with a 16kts cruising speed.
Tradition Supreme 108
The new Tradition Supreme 108 (BK001), recently transferred to the outfitting area of the yard, follows the path of the successful Tradition 105. Designed by Stefano Righini, the 32.98m (108ft) Tradition Supreme 108 has a composite structure, and for the first time in the history of the Benetti Class range, the sun deck, roll-bar and hard top are constructed using fiberglass-carbon composites, creating a considerably lighter, and stronger deck structure. Her three decks give a considerable increase in living space and on board comfort.
Ten guests can be comfortably accommodated in five cabins, an owners suite on the main deck and four guest cabins (two double and two twin) on the lower deck. As with all Benetti yachts, interior spaces are completely customizable. The twin MAN engines give her a top speed of 13.5kts, and a cruising speed of 12.5kts. The first Supreme 108 will be delivered in October 2013.
Benetti Delfino 93 'Zaphira'
The fifth Benetti Delfino 93, 'Zaphira' (BD005) was launched in October. She is easily distinguished by her magnificent blue hull and the yacht's nameplate, created by the owner himself. She has a semi displacement composite hull with an overall length of 28.5m (93ft) and a maximum beam of 7m (23ft), her external lines were designed by Stefano Righini.
She can host up to twelve guests in complete comfort, in four guest cabins (two doubles, two twins plus two pullmans) in addition to the owners suite. Two Caterpillar engines give her a top speed of 14kts, a cruising speed of 13kts, and a range of 1500nm at 12kts. She will be delivered at the end of 2012.
