The Travelling Bug

The Owners of this MegaYacht Fortunate Sun 177ft Oceanfast must have the traveling bug. The yacht has been spotted in Dublin, Ireland at the start of the month (July 2011) and 2 weeks later in Valencia, Spain with probably a few more stops on the way down. Maybe they stopped off in the beautiful town of Cascais, Portugal. The picture below shows the boat docked on the river Liffy just outside the Jurys hotel.

The Owner of this MegaYacht is thought to be a New York businessman who is in the Pharmaceutical industry. The yacht was launchedin 2003 by Oceanfast Yachts in Australia and designed by Tim Heywood.
Fortunate Sun has a max speed of 18kts powered by two MTUs with a total HP out put of 4750. She has a crew of 12 and hold up to 10 guests including the owners. Below is a picture taken in Valencia Spain yesterday on the 16th July and in the British Virgin Islands in 2007.

With all the traveling that this MegaYacht is doing keep track of them with Yacht tracking. and see where in the Med their next stop will be.
