The First "Hetairos" Superyacht

There is two yachts named Hetairos that belong to the same owner and many of you know the new 219ft project name Panamax now called Hetairos. Some of you may not know the old Hetairos so below accompanied with pictures taken earlier today in Valencia Spain are the facts and details about her.

The Superyacht that the owner had before his new yacht and still owns but its up for sale for €13.8m was built by Abeking & Rasmussen. The project was started in 1991 and the yacht 141ft ketch was launched 662 days later in 1993. Abeking & Rasmussen was one of the only yards at the time to be able to meet the owners needs in exquisite design and experienced craftsmanship. The out come was a beautiful and elegant ketch with top craftsmanship that still today nearly 20 years on still sits at the top level of the great Superyachts in the industry.

She has recently under gone a 8 month refit by the Southampton Yacht Services. She now has a black hull with gold trim that really matches well with the cream masts and booms. Her exterior design was the work of Bruce King Yacht Design and her interior was by the famous Andrew Winch Designs. She was recently at the Monaco Yacht Show in September and her next plans are unknown.

She can accommodate up to 10 guests in a full beam master suite and 2 double and 2 twin cabins. She has been all around the world to places such as the Amazon, Alaska, New Zealand, Madagascar and the South Pacific. She has a shallow draft to be able to get into and explore the most hard to reach places of the world.
