Nobiskrug Launch new 241ft "Mogambo"

The German shipyard Nobiskrug has launched their newest yacht Mogambo 241ft. Some of the yards previous Mega Yachts include.

  • Sapphire, 241ft, delivered in April 2011
  • Jamaica Bay, 196ft, delivered in August 2010
  • Sycara V, 223ft, delivered in September 2010
  • Siren, 242ft, delivered in April 2008
Mogambo hull is based on the same hull as Siren her sister yacht, with the same distinct gray hull with the three large floor to ceiling windows forward of the main deck. The exterior was designed by Reymond Langton Design and the main difference between these two yachts is the layout of the main windows on the main deck and the first deck.

She will have accommodation for 12 guests in 6 cabins and she will have a crew of 19. She is expected to have a top speed of around 17kts and a cruising speed of 15kts. Mogambo is expected for delivery by the end of the year 2011.

Below is a picture of Siren and you can see the similar hull shape and exterior layout between the two Mega Yachts.
