41m Superyacht 'AZRA' Delivered

The Mengi-Yay shipyard in Turkey has just delivered their newest Superyacht the 41m (134ft) Azra to her delighted new owner. This beautiful two-toned yacht has been constructed not by aluminum or steel but by a wooden laminate epoxy and was designed by the in house team at the yard. Her exterior lines blend well with the sharp angled windows on the main and upper deck, and her large windows on the lower deck will give guests bright and spacious cabins with great waterline views.

Mengi-Yay have had a busy few weeks with the delivery of Azra and also her sistership MY Steel which has also been constructed the same way with a wooden laminate epoxy. She sports similar lines but with a different lower deck window configuration and paint job. We will bring you pictures of Steel over the next few days.

The main deck will feature the master cabin forward which will include a large bathroom and seating area, the guest accommodation will be on the lower deck and feature 3 guest cabins and a seating/relaxing area that was desired by the owner. She will have a jacuzzi and a sunbathing area on the flybridge deck, and a second saloon on the deck below. Her ultra modern interior was designed by BTA interior design and can be seen in the below slideshow. Turkish yards are taking the Superyacht industry by storm and you can expect some great yachts to come from Mengi-Yay in the feature.
