The massive 187m (613ft) concept design by Jens Cruse of Cruse Design from Hamburg Germany was one of the concept designs presented to the current client of the recently moved Lurssen built, project 'Azzam'.Cruse Design developed the concept with a leading German yacht manufacture for the client, a reported ruler who likes to visit his Island that is surrounded by shallow waters. This would suggest why project Azzam is water jet/gas turbine powered. One of the main and rare features with this concept was the yachts tender, a 35m (115ft) Pershing that would be house inside in the aft garage (see the above picture), it puts in perspective the sheer size of this 187m concept.
