TOPAZ Completes Her Maiden Voyage To Nice, France

Yesterday Lurssen's 2nd largest Superyacht to date the 147m (482'2") Topaz arrived in Nice, France, straight from her maiden voyage. During her maiden voyage she had a short pit stop in Falmouth on the south west of England (see the picture below).

She was delivered to her delighted owner on the 14th of August, she left the Lurssen facility and made her way down the Weser river
in the evening showing off her beautiful bright blue neon lights, a great spectacle for any onlookers. She goes straight in to the list of the top 100 privately owned yachts at position number 5. Not much is known about this monster of a Superyacht as she has been kept top secret throughout her construction.

What we can tell you is that she is 147m in length, has a a gross tonnage of 11,589 and a beam of 21.50m. Her exterior design is very distinctive and can be presumed she was designed by the renowned designer Tim Heywood.

If you have any pictures of Topaz, you can you email them to megayachtglobal@gmail.com and we will put them up in our Photo & Video section with the other pictures of Topaz.

  1. Thank you for posting the video. Personally, it's not the most beautiful yacht I've ever seen, but it's still extremely impressive. The 155m Al Said megayacht is the largest vessel completed by Lurssen, but this is still smaller than the 180m Azzam which Lurssen is working on and will be the World’s largest superyacht – looking forward to seeing that one.
