Perini Navi Launch Flagship "Grace E"
Perini Navi Group have just launched their new 73m (239ft) Picchiotti flagship named "Grace E". She is the third megayacht sold by the Perini Navi Group at their Picchiotti yard in La Spezia, Italy. The other two beautifully designed Italian megayachts that have been launched by the La Spezia yard are the 50m (164ft) "Exuma" and the 55m (180ft) "Galileo G" in the Vitruvius series.
Grace E has the same hull and superstructure design elements that make the rest of the Picchiotti Vitruvius series stand out wherever they visit. She has an advanced diesel electric propulsion system with two Azipod propellers, which are electronically activated propellers that are mounted on a movable support called a pod. This allows her to reach a cruising speed of 16.5kts. Grace E is also equipped with a variety of tenders for the exploration.
Her exterior spaces are divided over five decks. The upper deck, also called the wellness deck, has an area that is entirely devoted to wellness with a gym, a sauna and hydrotherapy equipment. The contemporary interiors across all five decks have been designed by Remi Tessier.
She will be delivered by the end of the year.

The Perini Navi Group: The Third Superyacht In The Vitruvius Series
She was created like MY Exuma 50m (164ft) and MY Galileo G 55m (180ft) before her, for those who want to cruise in comfort with safety and efficiency. This new generation of Superyacht has a characteristic hull and superstructure, a new concept for interior spaces and plenty of room dedicated to the storage of tenders and water toys.

Rossi Navi's New 45M 'Aslec 4' Is Ready For Launch

Aslec 4 bears the signature smooth Italian lines of the Spadolini Design Studio, who were also responsible for the interior layout. She is the result of the owners desires, with one of the owners requests to have a large deck space so that the family could enjoy the whole yacht, the result is an expansive 70sqm aft deck. The owner and family will be close to the water with the stern that leads down the waters edge, satisfying another request by the owner.
The interior was designed by Remi Tessier, who gave special attention to material, the finished look and equipment. The use of oak and ebony wood is enhanced throughout the yacht by precious chrome and polish steel coupled with black and gold foil placed on the celings and walls of the two large saloons. She will be able to accommodate up to 12 guests and a crew of 7.
Aslec 4 will be the first launch of 2012 for the Rossi Navi yard with another expected shortly after.

Britain's Largest Mega Yacht "Vava II" Splashes
On the 10th of September the shipyard Devonport Yachts soon to be named Pendennis Plus due to the re-branding that the Pendennis yard are under taking, launched the Largest privately owned Mega Yacht ever to be constructed in Britain. The yacht that can be seen below was originally called project P55 became formally known as Vava II 315ft.
With the name of the yacht confirmed as Vava II speculation about the new owner has arisen suggesting that it might have been commissioned by Ernesto Bertarelli a Swiss born pharmaceuticals magnet and owner of the ex Americas Cup team Alinghi as his old Mega Yacht was called Vava 155ft built by Feadship in 1996.
The owner has requested that the specs of the yacht be kept private, but we can say that the yacht was designed by Redman Whitely Dixon and the interior was designed by Remi Tessier who has produced some excellent designs in the past which include the recently launched Heesen yacht Satori 163ft and two Perini Navi's Parsifal III 177ft and Salute 183ft so expect the interior of Vava II to be of the highest standard.
Vava II will begin her sea trials in October and will be delivered to her owner shortly after that.
