The "ENVY" of Superyachts
This stunning design is sure to be the envy of every superyacht at the moment, Admiral Tecnomar have teamed up with the Vripack design studio to produce project "ENVY" the first in their semi-displacement series. The combination of these two prolific companies have produced a stunning and innovative design.
Envy will have a beach club opening on three sides to create a massive beach area for her owner and guests and a central atrium on the main deck with extra large floor ceiling windows that provide ample natural light. Her modern eye catching exterior lines look like they have been taken straight out of the designers sketch book which he worked on with a golden pencil.
Envy's hull and superstructure will be made of aluminum. Admiral Tecnomar will be producing the series in three different sizes a 33m (108ft), 40m (131ft) and 50m (164ft), which will be officially presented at the Monaco Yacht Show in September.

Vripack Design A Classic
Vripack have designed what can only be described as a beautiful modern classic with the distintive exterior characteristics of those gentleman yachts of the 1920s and 1940s. The B52 which measures 45.5m (150ft) is to become a real family orientated megayacht that will be most at home exploring coastal waters and being used as a mother ship during classic sailing yacht regattas , hence the B in her name.
She will have a tailor-made layout that results in spacious and functional areas which was specified by the young owner to be. On the spacious main deck you will find the master cabin, two twin cabins for the owners children, a nanny cabin, an office and a pantry. The complete lower deck as seen in the above image is above the waterline and is especially designed for the crew, including a galley, crew mess, crew cabins and their own private relaxation area on the foredeck.
"To create maximum privacy for the owner and guests, we paid special attention to the routing of this yacht, making it possible for the crew to be able to do their jobs properly whilst only encountering the guest's deck or internal spaces as little as possible," says Vripack designer Bart Bouwhuis.
The aft part of the main deck has enough space to be able to house two 7.5m (24ft) tenders that can be launched via a deck crane, also there is a large extendible swim platform that's integrated into her classic stern. There are two canopy covered outside areas one forward on the foredeck which includes a relaxing lounge and bar, the other is situated aft of the wheelhouse and includes an additional seating area and a jacuzzi. We are really looking forward to seeing how the B52 project progresses.

Vripack's Project Liquid
Project 'Liquid Silver' has been in the the Vripack design studio pipeline for many years and it just been in recent years that it has grown to become the Vripack vision of the modern research vessel, the research vessel yacht 2.0 (RVY). Her internal project name has long been Turmoil II. The main reason for this is her striking long forward bow being the boat deck, just like Vripack's previous RVY 1.0. Her main deck blends into the her raised striking long bow to give clean flowing exterior lines while the practical location of her deck is still there. She has a closed transom just like the RVY 1.0, but Liquid Silver opens up to revival a complete beach club area. This is by no means an innovative idea on the Superyachts of today, but recent studies by Vripack with owners and crew clearly show the need for this recreational spot.
The layout of Liquid Silver continues on the success of other Vripack explorers with a crew deck above the waterline but under the main deck. Guest and general social functions on the main deck with the owner's deck above, creating a complete private walk around. The bridge deck is the next deck up and on top of that an observation deck. Vripack say 'Never change a winning layout' and we agree when it works it works.
Specifications
- Length: 85m (279ft)
- Beam: 14.30m (47ft)
- Draft: 4m (13ft)
- Materials: Steel/Aluminium
- Design: Vripack

RMK and Vripack's Explorer 110 Design

RMK Marine in collaboration with Vripack have presented the Explorer 110 design with two slightly different styling schemes. The difference in style can be seen in the above and below images which has been based on the requirements for a current customer.
Both styling schemes provide accommodation for 8 guests in a twin guest cabin, a double cabin and a VIP cabin all en suite as well as the master owners cabin. There is also accommodation for 6 crew. There are 2 tenders shown on board that can be launched by a central single crane, additional space for more toys can be incorporated into the design if required.
Vripack have worked with RMK Marine on 3 previously successful expedition projects, Caressa K which measures 38m (124ft) in length , the 37m (121ft) Jasmin and the 37m (121ft) Private Lives which is currently for sale for $8,875,000. Vripack have the reputation for designing expedition yachts with a great deal of volume for the size of the yacht and this can definitely be seen with this 33m design.
A spokesman for RMK Marine said 'The benefits of the Vripack explorer yachts are that they are designed to go anywhere, have outstanding sea keeping, range and the high volume to provide maximum accommodation and storage for tenders and toys all clothed in the ruggedly attractive lines of the expedition yacht genre'.

The Burger 97, "A Familiar Design with a Modern Twist"
The Burger Boat Company have teamed up with top designers Vripack to come up with their modern 97ft mega yacht. From looking at the above image you can see the classic Burger style that they have had success with over the years, but it has been modernised with smooth lines and large windows in the hull to bring the yacht into the now modern world. The team have created a simple but effective, classic modern mega yacht. The interior of the Burger 97 is very typical of a family yacht. A fully equipped VIP area is situated in the forepeak of the lower deck, with its own private entrance from the main deck. She will be able to accommodate 6 guests on the lower deck in a full beam owners cabin directly behind the VIP area with his and hers bathrooms, and two guest cabins amidships. The crew accommodation and living area which has a private entrance from the main deck is aft on the lower deck.
The main deck contains the living area which is divided into spacious indoor and outdoor areas,
a country style kitchen and an office. There is plenty of room for a jacuzzi and tender/jet ski storage on the flybridge deck.
Henry E. Burger once said; "A pleasure boat should be created from the very start to be just that.. with beauty, comfort, convenience, smooth running performance and easy maintance kept paramount from the designer's board to the last touch of the finisher's brush", and the combined team of Burger and Vripack have done just that with this new design.

Vripack & Newcastle Shipyards Combine in "Chuggaboom" Project
First thoughts when you look at this expedition yacht is "Wow", the shear size of this yacht and typical expedition style just shouts take me around the world and let me explore. Vripack and Newcastle Shipyards have combined in this project named Chuggaboom, with Vripack taking on the exterior design and the naval architecture, and the American shipyard Newcastle who are well known for their expedition yachts, taking on the construction and are progressing smoothly with the build.Chuggaboom will be 177ft (54m) long, and have a beam of 37ft (11.50m) and a cruising speed of 12kts. Her external design and expedition style has a close resemblance to other expedition yachts in her size range such as the 184ft (56m) Pangaea, the 196ft (59m) Ulysses and the 209ft (64m) Turmoil. All of these boats have the same bold character for adventure.
Bart Bouwhuis Director of Design from Vripack said:
"This globetrotting family yacht is a true dedication to the original philosophy of our research vessel design. She is outrageously spacious and has been designed for a very experienced yachting family with the typical no-nonsense attitude we love. Even we have difficulty holding her down on our drawing tables, as the adventure that goes together with her design makes the drawings come alive"
Her bold character for adventure is softened by the luxurious interior designed by Andrew Winch. One of the yachts special features is the dedicated motorbike storage and workshop where the shop is directly connected to the forward deck enabling the bikes to be rolled on to a tender giving easy transport to the mainland for island exploration.
