"Numptia" 230ft by Rossi Navi 2011
Numptia 230ft was one of the star attractions at the Monaco Yacht Show last week. She was launched in April by the Rossi Navi yard in Viareggio, Italy to an owner who was prepared to cross the conventional boundaries in yacht design and innovation. An extensive brief was given to the exterior designers Spadolini and the interior designers Salvagni from the owner with his wishes for the design.
The owner chose these designers who are relatively young in their sector to introduce young, fresh and innovative designs. Some of her main features include a spa deck, two main saloons, an upper pool and sun deck and ceiling to floor windows. She can accommodate 12 guests including the owner and a crew of 19. The owners suite is a full beam suite that covers 170 square meters, and their are also 2 double, 2 twin suites on the lower deck and a slightly larger VIP suite on the bridge deck. She has a cruising speed of 12kts with a range of 7,500nm and a top speed of 19kts. Numptia is currently available for charter from Burgess at a price of €525,000 per week.
A down side to this yacht is the owners choice to use animal skins and fur through out the interior of the yacht. Some of the skins include Zebra skin Rug, a Stingray covered table and the owners dressing room with stingray and goat skins.
