The beautiful 87m (285ft) Lurssen 'ACE' arrived in Portland Harbour in England the other week, where Andrew Weir Yacht Management provided various services to the yacht in preparation for the arrival of her owner. The arrival of her owner had all ready been planned prior to ACE's arrival at AWYM on the Dorset coast, so they had to work fast to get everything organised and start work once she was secured at the dock.
'Getting everything ready and with a limited time we had quite a number of challenges to accomplish' commented Daniel Taylor from AWYM. Some of the services included crew transportation, provisioning of certain items that the owner required on board and limousine transportation for the owner to his Superyacht. It is a possibility that the owner had been at the Olympics prior to his arrival to his Superyacht.
Ace was launched in January 2012 by the German shipyard Lurssen. She provides accommodation for up to 12 guests in 6 luxurious suites, with her interior and exterior styling created by Andrew Winch Design. The below picture (and more can be seen in the photos & video page above) was taken in June in Valencia Spain where the Russian owner was collecting his guests.
