OCEA in France have just added another design to their commuter sceries, a 70m (230ft) expedition yacht that is ready to explore the world in luxury. The commuter 230 takes her name after the historical private yachts used by Manhattans rich and famous of the past century, for commuting at high speed from their Long Island estates to their Manhattan offices. You would definitely look the part pulling up outside your office in the new 230.
One of her main features is her large helicopter landing area aft on the bridge deck, but this is not to take attention away from her spacious aft main deck where guest and owners can relax in the sun or pool.
Her exterior design and naval architecture has been produced by Joubert-Nivelt Design, who have got the balance between her rugged but classic exterior lines perfect. Her modern and relaxed interior which blends light creams with dark woods was produced by Zuretti Design in France.
She will be able to accommodate 12 guests in 6 cabins which include the owners private deck located on the upper deck, a VIP suite located in your traditional area forward on the main deck and 4 guest cabins on the lower deck.
