On the 29th April 2013 Alloy Yachts in New Zealand launched the 43.9m (144ft) Dubois designed sloop named Encore, project AY45. Encore was built for experienced Alloy customers and will now spend the coming weeks in commissioning mode before being handed over to her owners in late June. She will have a full Southern Spars carbon EC6+ rigging package so expect to see her testing out this high performance package on the superyacht racing circuit in the very near future.
