CRN Launch 43m "Lady Genyr"

Last Monday the 29th of April 2013 the CRN yard in Italy launched their eighth superyacht in their successful Navetta 43 series and also their second launch of the year. Christened Lady Genyr she measure 43m (141ft) in length and is slightly different that the others in the Navetta series as she sports a new sun deck layout and an internal lift. The other Navetta 43s in the CRN fleet are: Emerald Star (delivered in 2007), followed by Hana and Rubeccan (2008), Sofico (2009), Eviva and Kate (2010) and Lady Trudy (2011).

Lady Genyr was no exception to the Italian vibe as the CRN yard kept to their tradition of an entirely Italian made superyacht, as all of the suppliers involved were mainly local. Her external design and interior layout were left in the capable hands of Italian design studio Zuccon International Project, while CRN were responsible for the naval architecture and the interior design.

Some of her distinctive features are that the owners suite incorporates a private balcony, a lift links all four decks and she has a spacious sun deck, which makes her look larger than the other Navetta 43s. She will be able to accommodate up to 10 guests in one owners suite and four VIP guest cabins.

Lamberto Tacoli, Chairman and CEO of CRN commented "Lady Genyr's launching is a further important step for CRN in establishing itself among the top players of international yachting. Just three months from the historic launching of the 80m 'Chopi Chopi', the largest pleasure vessel ever manufactured by CRN, the eighth Navetta 43 was put to sea. This continuity shows the commitment and the productive capacity of the Shipyard that has shown itself capable of combining innovation and tradition, creating tailor-made products for each Client".

She will remain at the yard for the next couple of weeks as the final finishing touches are added to the interior before she is delivered to her owner in July.
