Barracuda Yacht Designs 50m Concept

Barracuda's 50m (164ft) concept was first unveiled at the Monaco Yacht Show in September of last year, flat surfaces and gentle curves combine to create a sleek, bold and efficient megayacht. She has a narrow beam and a long waterline length, that offers fast and efficient performance contained within the 500 GRT rule.

She was designed to enter the market in the ever growing an popular 50m size range. You step on board via the starboard side doors to a lobby which leads to the main saloon and dining area. By turning right a corridor leads to four luxurious, equal size guest rooms located unusually on the main deck. Guests will avoid the usual climbing up and down stairs to the lower deck to reach there rooms.

The guest rooms will have plenty of incoming natural light from the large windows in the hull, as seen in the image above. Each guest room will have two of these windows, one of which can be lowered down fully to provide a balcony area.

The upper/bridge deck is entirely the owner’s space, with bedroom and office positioned amidships for best possible comfort and with a large private terrace aft. A private stairway leads up to a sheltered sun deck with Jacuzzi above.

An almost full beam width stern door acts as a large swimming platform with boarding steps behind where a beach club/gymnasium benefits from almost 180 degree views out the back and plenty of natural light from the windows on either side of the hull. She is a great concept that is sure to catch the eyes of potential owners looking at the 50m range megayacht.
