Mondango 3 Feels The Wind
The 56.4m (185ft) "Mondango 3" got her first taste of the wind in her sails yesterday. She was out for the start of her sea trials before she gets handed over to her owner in late February.
She is a 56.4m ketch designed by Dubois Naval Architects and built by Alloy Yachts in New Zealand. Some of her main features include a swing down centerboard, twin sub-deck tender wells, and aft deck spa pool (wow on a yacht). She has 5 cabins to accommodate up to 11 guests. The interior design was developed by the London based studio Reymond Langton Design and her rigs were built by New Zealand based Southern Spars with her sails supplied by North.
She will also be available for charter through Burgess Yachts. A tempting charter on a new superyacht through the south pacific, sounds like bliss.
