Perini Navi New 60m 197ft Series

Due to the huge success of Perini Navi's 56m 184ft series they have decided to launch the 60m series. They have all ready got off to a flying start with two signed contracts with a total value of just over 70 million Euro.
The two yachts one of which is a ketch with project name C.2193 and the other is a sloop with project name C.2218. The first boat to be delivered to her owner will be the ketch in 2013 and followed by the sloop in 2014.

This new Perini 60m has potential to expand and upgrade in design and technology from the 56m series. The 60m yacht will be comfortable and spacious due to its vast deck and internal space. The deck will include two cockpits one fore and aft as seen in the picture above. The fore deck will hide 21ft tenders in wells under the deck creating more space above for maximum comfort. The transom will open down to create a swimming platform or sun deck with an internal stairs that leads onto the aft deck (just like on the Perini 56m Selene).Below deck there will be 4 en-suite guest cabins and a full beam owners state room. There will be 5 crew cabins and a separate cabin for the captain. She will have a max speed of 15.5kts and at her cruising speed of 12.5kts she will have a range of 3500nm.
The mast or masts be it a ketch or a sloop will be made of carbon composite and will be a huge weight saver. Keep a look out here on MegaYacht Global for more News through out there construction.
